I’m always looking for great recipes for busy weeknights, and using the Instant Pot is one of my favorite ways to serve up tasty meals when I’m short on time. It’s entirely hassle-free. Throw your ingredients — in this case a frozen pork loin — in the Instant Pot, turn it on, and you’re on your way to a great-tasting, one pot meal!

This Instant Pot frozen pork loin recipe delivers juicy, mouthwatering pork with little effort. You don’t even need to defrost your meat!

Even better, you can make this recipe work for your family by adding in all of your favorite seasonings and vegetables to the dish, or doubling the recipe for larger meals. It’s a quick and easy dinner that doesn’t skimp out on the flavor.

I made this recipe using my Instant Pot 6-Quart Duo Nova. It’s the perfect size for my family of four and makes releasing the steam so much easier than the standard Instant Pot.

STEP ONE: In the pot, combine broth, soup, and gravy mixes with a whisk.

STEP TWO: Place frozen meat in the pot. Seal and cook on high pressure for 55 minutes. Then, allow the pressure to release naturally for 20 minutes before opening the valve to release any remaining pressure.

STEP THREE: Test the internal temperature of the pork, which should be between 140-145 degrees F. Remove from the IP and let rest on a cutting board for 5 minutes.

STEP FOUR: Slice and serve with gravy, plus your choice of sides!

If you’re thinking of adding some extra seasoning to your dish, herbs like rosemary, sage, thyme, garlic, and parsley work wonderfully with the flavors of frozen pork loin in the Instant Pot.

If you’re looking to add some more spice, red pepper flakes or cumin also taste great with this dish!

This can happen for a variety of reasons, but most likely it was a bit overcooked. Both undercooking and overcooking can dry out pork.

Keep in mind that Instant Pot frozen pork loin will continue to cook during the natural pressure release. Don’t increase the amount of time on the timer, but also don’t let it release pressure for longer than 20 minutes

Once that time is up, open the valve and remove the loin meat as soon as possible. Then, let it rest before slicing so it stays nice and juicy.

Nope! The pressure cooker will do all of the work for you, so searing meat ahead of time is not necessary. And no need to worry about undercooked meat as long as your internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F using a meat thermometer.

Many people like to brown their meat after pressure cooking, but this is simply for cosmetic reasons, as it gives the meat a more seasoned look.
